I am a big believer in affirmations and I have used them multiple times in my life to manifest my hopes and dreams into a reality.
And since seeing awesome results like these, I have used them frequently to manifest other things in my life.
I do believe that affirmations do work when you apply them to your daily routine.
To make these affirmations work for you faster, you need to have the mindset of belief.
Affirmations are an effective tool to use to set your mind to achieve your goals!
Repeating affirmations thousands of times a day is not really necessary.
I believe it’s more about the mindset and putting your affirmations to work.
We are going to share a few powerful tips to make affirmations work for you.
The benefits of using affirmations that work:
Affirmations are frequently used to reprogram the subconscious mind!
And this then encourages us to believe certain things about ourselves or the world and our place within it.
They also allow us to not only change our perceptions of ourselves but also the world around us.
Affirmations changed my life for the better in more ways than one.
Here is why I recommend them:
- Perfect for increasing positivity
- It will help with self-confidence
- Affirmations help control negativity such as anger or frustration
- It’s perfect for calming anxiety
- It helps improve productivity
- It increases the ability to overcome bad habits
- Perfect for helping you achieve personal goals
- Improves self-esteem
- It has personally helped me with stress (I suffer from High Blood Pressure)
If you can make affirmations work faster for you, you will reap a lot of amazing benefits.
Affirmations are useless if not done correctly or if your mindset is not there fully.

Why do affirmations work?
I have already mentioned this, but I think it’s worth mentioning again.
Affirmations absolutely work and I think the big part of it is because of someone’s mindset.
People are often skeptical of affirmations and usually wonder if they truly work for the manifestation of goals and dreams they may have.
If you’ve heard of the Law of Attraction, then you know that the whole theory is based on programming your subconscious mind to align perfectly with your desires.
And this starts at a young age.
For the longest time, I believed in fairies because my mom would tell me cute and amazing stories about fairies and how cool they were.
So everything I did when I was a kid revolved around fairies.
If I was good the fairies would visit me in my dreams, if I lost a tooth, they would leave a coin under my pillow and so on.
It was because I believed in it wholeheartedly.
When you are learning how to use affirmations for manifesting, you need to allow your mind to believe in it FULLY.
Basically, your entire life was designed to fit the programming of your belief system.
If you believe that working hard will get you a good job, I am sure you spent most of your life working hard.
If you believe that money won’t bring you happiness, again that is your belief!
So finding a way to use these affirmations and beliefs to your advantage will manifest into something great.
We are going to show you exactly how you can make affirmations more effective below.
7 Ways To Make Affirmations Work Faster:
For your affirmations to work fast, you need to repeat them frequently.
Repeat, repeat and repeat!
Make an effort to constantly repeat your affirmations several times a day.
Ensure that you say and feel your affirmations over and over for your mindset to start to shift into positivity.
To make your affirmations work faster, pay attention to these 7 tips:
1. Be very specific about the affirmation
For your affirmations to work faster, you really need to be specific about your wants and needs.
You can’t be broad or basic about what you need from the universe.
Affirmations will empower you to take action, so the more specific you are, the better.
You need to ensure that your affirmations are specific enough that you can visualize them.
Vague statements won’t get you what you want.
Let’s say you wanted to manifest more money in your life.
An example of positive money affirmation would be:
My bank balance is increasing every day and I always have enough money for myself.
This is very specific.
I want more money in my account, so I am affirming just that.
2. Use Present Tense
When using affirmations, the most powerful ones are the ones that focus on the now as opposed to the future.
If you want to make affirmations work faster, it’s best to use “I’m” instead of focusing on the “I will”!
I absolutely recommend you focus on what you want to achieve right now rather than thinking about the future.
For the manifestation to work faster, it’s a good idea to do the affirmations in the present tense, as if the situation is already occurring.
You will get better results this way.
3. Be open to receiving
Another great way to ensure you make your affirmations work faster is to be open to receiving good things.
I enjoy motivating women to take action to better themselves.
But if you refuse to take action, you will be stuck in the same space forever unless you make a change.
I know plenty of negative people that simply do not see how things are working well for them.
Here is an example.
Let’s say you want love in your life, maybe even a marriage.
So naturally, your turn to affirmations for getting married or simply one for finding love.
If are putting great effort into saying powerful affirmations for love, but you turn down an offer to go out with someone you like, then obviously you won’t get love.
You are giving up before you can even begin.
Basically, you are closing yourself off to something that could grow into love.
If you are looking for ways to make your affirmations work faster, read the room and open yourself up to accepting and exploring what the universe is trying to offer you.
4. Make Affirmations Work Fast By Repeating
You are here because you want results for the affirmations you are using.
And one of the best ways to make affirmations work faster for you is to repeat them frequently.
Say them (or write them) with feeling and confidence!
It should become part of your lifestyle and routine.
Saying it in the shower once and maybe one more time before bed is not going to cut it.
I definitely recommend repeating these several times a day whenever you can.
If you have a journal, write it down every single day.
Recite your affirmation when you are working out or in the shower even.
I typically write mine on a posted note and leave these notes on my bathroom mirror, the fridge, my computer monitor and sometimes as my phone screensaver.
This will remind me to say it out or read it out when I see it.
If you drive or walk, this would be the perfect time to say your mantra or your positive affirmations.
Obviously, say it with meaning otherwise it’s worthless.
I would recommend grabbing the Daily Manifestation Routine For Calling In Money & Abundance to help set you up with a great routine.
5. Frame your affirmations as a positive statement
This one is really important.
Using positive affirmations is a great way to help you stay motivated and you will feel more empowered immediately.
To make affirmations work faster for you, I recommend using more feeling words such as eager, excited, encouraged, hopeful, etc.
Your affirmations should be frames as a positive statement and as much as possible, stay away from negativity.
Spinning a negative statement into a positive will also not work.
So instead of saying:
- I will stop watching too much TV and study – maybe say “I choose to focus my time on bettering myself through studying hard for my future.
- I will stop spending money on junk food – say something along “I am focussing on spending my money on buying healthy foods so I can have a long healthy life.
Basically, you going to affirm what you want instead of what you don’t want.
And to ensure your affirmations are powerful, focus on saying “I am, Me, My or “I”!
At the end of the day, focus on yourself.
- I am a better person
- I radiate beauty, charm, and grace
- I possess the qualities needed to be extremely successful
- I am courageous and I stand up for myself
- I acknowledge my own self-worth; my confidence is soaring
- I am at peace with all that has happened, is happening, and will happen
6. Commit to making affirmations work
Affirmations will not work if you do not fully commit to making them work.
And it will definitely not work fast if you use them inconsistently.
To commit, you need to set a routine that works well for you.
This will ensure that you are giving it your all and committed to making things work.
You should create a plan to ensure your affirmations work.
For example, if you are affirming to get more money, you also need a plan in place such as:
- Applying for a promotion
- Asking for a raise
- Applying for a better job
All these tasks should be done to better align with your affirmations.
The more you are committed to this, the faster your affirmations will come to be.
7. Keep your affirmations short and to the point
Keep it short, something that you can easily lock into your memory.
The best affirmations are ones you can say over and over without needing to read.
If you have to read it out loud, that is okay, but aim to say short affirmations and to the point as much as you can.
Reciting your affirmation from the heart gives it more meaning and you are more likely to believe in them.
For this reason, I encourage you to stick with affirmations that have shorter sentences and that you can recite without stress.
If you can recite the longer sentences with ease, then, by all means, go for it.
Just make sure that your affirmation is ingrained in your mind and that you can quickly recite them when needed.
And there you have, everything you need to know on how to make affirmations work faster!
How many affirmations per day is a good number?
Is there such thing as too many affirmations?
I think so.
I personally like to focus on one thing at a time.
So let’s say this month, I want to manifest more money in my life, I would be looking at financial affirmations or powerful money affirmations that work fast to help with any money issues I may be having.
If I was looking for a career change or a new job, I will be focusing on only that until I do land a new job, a promotion or even a career change.
At this point, I would be looking at amazing career affirmations to boost my chances of landing a good job.
By keeping the focus limited to one or two things, I believe will help you more.
In terms of how many affirmations per day is good, I would say 2 to 3 affirmations per day is a good number to stick to.
I recommend repeating these several times a day.
I typically repeat my affirmations every morning, during the day, when I am driving or working out and absolutely every night.
How long does it take for affirmations to work?
Wondering how long does it take for positive affirmations to work?
Let me start by saying that affirmations can be very powerful but it is also difficult to really say how long one would need before they start working.
Others find that they are in a better mood after just five minutes, while other people may take weeks or even months for their affirmations to work.
To ensure that affirmations work, it is important to put in a considerable amount of effort and be patient.
While I do not have a definitive answer on how long affirmation can take to work as everyone has different goals they wish to accomplish for themselves, I would suggest at least 5-6 months before seeing any results.
Sometimes even as long as a year.
Affirmations are great and I highly recommend that you try incorporating them into your lives, and the best way to know if they will help you is to give them time!
There are many ways to say affirmations for it to work faster.
For example, you can choose to do it in the morning, before you eat lunch, or after work is done for the day!
You can even choose to do it when your mind starts to think negative thoughts during those hard times of your life that make everything feel or seem so difficult and impossible.
Affirmations can help reinforce positive self-talk by giving yourself a mental boost whenever necessary throughout various points of each day.
It also helps if you do these around a time of mental clarity or just after waking up from sleep because there are fewer distractions going on in your head at those times than during other parts of the day.
The choice is up to you, as long as you truly believe in what you are saying during the affirmations.
