Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter also known as Beyonce (brand), is number 4 on the FORBES Celebrity list. Do I know too much about Beyonce? Umm yeah, because I am a long time fan! Beyonce is always surprising her fans with new products, incredible music, and dance routines. So we going to explore how to market and brand your business like Beyonce does to make money. How to market and brand your business like Beyonce

There is so much truth in the fact that Beyonce runs an incredible and successful brand that everyone (especially entrepreneurs) should take notice of and learn from. We are going to tell you a few things you can do in order to market and brand your business like Beyonce. If you must know, as I am writing this, I am listening and moving my head to “Who run the world!”.  Now back to our blog “How to market and Brand your business like Beyonce.“

Create your own Community of BeyHive Fans…

On our last blog, we talked about how building a community online was important to your brand. Beyonce over the years has built a strong empire of followers that are always ready to purchase her product, follow her no matter what and are ready to support her if she ever needed it. Running any type of business needs a great team to be successful. You can not do it all and still be really successful. Your fans, assistance support team, marketing teams are all here to help build your empire. 

So many bloggers are always wondering, how can I build and brand my business like Beyonce does to really make a mark. How can they market and brand your business like Beyonce is not as easy as it looks, but it is possible. They want to be able to launch a product and make thousands of dollars in sales in its opening week and you can do it! 

If you are a blogger and are looking for ways to build a community, then we suggest doing it in a few ways. Here are three steps to start you off:

1. Start building an email list
2. Create your own Facebook groups and consider joining some
3. Building a loyal following on Social Media

When you release a new product create a Buzz..

You need to get your audience excited about your product in some way. You can do this by creating a buzz around your release, in Beyonce’s case, a BeyHive Buzz. When Beyonce released her “Lemonade” album , there was a huge increase in the use of Bee and Lemon emojis on twitter! With the release of this album, you couldn’t help but wonder how social media is where the conversation happens. This means that you should use all social media channels to ensure you are reaching out to your fans. 

Be Unique and stand out…. 

Don’t do what every another entrepreneur is doing, otherwise, you are just like them. Dare to be different. I mean just listen to Beyonce’s song- “I am a grown woman”. Her lyrics ” I am a grown woman, I can do whatever I want!” You are your own boss, you can do what works for you. If you want to use an idea that another entrepreneur is doing, that’s fine, just make it “YOU”. It needs to reflect you and your brand, otherwise, why should we follow you? You are offering exactly what the next person is. You don’t want to be a copy-cat! Identify your brand and go with that. If you are different, people will always follow you because you have something different to offer. 

Listen to your audience and give them what they need… 

Do you ever wonder why so many of Beyonce fans are ready to purchase her concert tickets (even though she barely promoted it to start with)? Or her latest CD or perfume? She knows her audience and knows what they want. She is simply delivering what they asked for and they are ready to buy whatever she has to offer from the very first day. Her “Beehive community” are her loyal fans, they are engaged and they believe in the products she has to offer. That’s how she gets away with little to no promotion prior to a release of a product. We are telling you to get your own Beehive fans off of social media and into your mailing list.  Not sure what your audience want, send them a survey to see what their struggles are. 

Get people talking about your business…

Beyonce is known for getting people to talk about her. One thing is for sure, you never know what she is up too. When Beyonce released her album “Beyonce”, no one was expecting it. Not even me, a true fan. My twitter account was blowing up on the day and I was wondering what was happening. Well- Beyonce dropped an album with no warning and it reached No. 1 on the charts with NO PROMOTION. Who releases a product with no promo? And then sales out? 

Another surprise element was when she announced her pregnancy at the VMAs and broke twitter. That left me in utter shock (her fans anyways). People all over the world were tweeting, Instagramming, reposting on Facebook and on every social network known. In other words find a way to get your fans to talk about your business and your brand. This is how to market and brand your business like Beyonce. Doing it big and strategic or not doing it at all.

Have a Beyonce grand plan and keep it a secret…

As we now know it, Beyonce likes to surprise her audience in any way possible from business releases to personal announcements. She is all about the  “Surprize element”. This is the best on how to market and brand your Business like Beyonce as you prepare to launch. Trust us, she would not be able to do this if she did not have a loyal community behind her brand. Would you really purchase something from a nobody? I doubt it. Beyonce has built a great community over the years and that is how she is able to get the results she is getting with little to no promo. 

If your great mind has come up with an awesome idea, try to keep it to yourself until you are ready to release it. Otherwise, someone else will steal your idea. Doesn’t mean you can not offer small hints here and there for the sake of promoting (we are no Beyonce here), for example: “stay tuned, new product coming your way soon”. Or blogging about something that will eventually lead to your grand release. Another way is creating a sales funnel that will lead your client to a final product. 

Lastly, don’t forget to have fun and enjoy family time…

Beyonce knows how to work hard but she also takes some time to chill out and enjoy quality time with family and her friends. All your hard work deserves some Beyonce fun.
